I recently had the opportunity to chat with one of my favorite women in business for her podcast. Felicia Lo is the founder and creative director of SweetGeoriga Yarns in Vancouver, Canada. Felicia’s work inspires me on many levels. It was an honor to join her for a conversation about creativity, small business, and motherhood.
It’s always fun for me to be on a podcast, but I have to admit to feeling a little nervous once it’s released. Did I make any sense? Is what I have to say interesting? Did my voice sound weird? So many little insecurities pop up!
In the end I have to trust that because these real conversations were valuable to me, they could also be valuable to someone else. Sometimes we forget that our own stories are interesting, and that they could be useful to others!
Here’s was Felicia had to say about our conversation:
Today I’m talking with Sonia Ruyts, the owner of a yarn store in Oregon called Stash. Sonia is a passionate knitter, business owner, and mother and this past fall, she started a podcast called “Stash, Creative Conversations with Makers and Doers”. She has been a personal inspiration to me over the past few years and she was one of the key people who really encouraged me to start this podcast.
